In painting flowers, I try to create an impression of flowers that have movement and light. In this painting I tried to depict the beauty of cycles of flowers with painting one of the flowers past its bloom as a metaphor to take notice of life in different stages.
The decaying flower will feed the soil for the new growth so it is a different kind of beauty.
