Celebrating The Beauty of Imperfections
With ImageTransfers Greetings Creatives, In this September's Expressive Art Journaling workshop, we will be practicing to our muse's content, and also learn something new about ourselves and maybe a technique or too. You will have the opportunity learn how to do an image transfer with a gel medium (Modge Podge). Start leafing through the magazine images, and find one that speaks to you that you would like to try an image transfer with. There are many simple and complex ways to create an image transfer on the page. We will start with a very simple technique. You will have the opportunity to use the simple technique of transferring an image on the journal page with Modge Podge medium. Why do an image transfer instead of collaging an image on our page? You can do both. When you do an image transfer the image becomes aged looking, a bit torn, or fuzzy and basically it just has a really interesting look about it. It is an imperfect transfer! So, lets go with it and celebrate the beauty of imperfections! To register for class sign up here atlanticcenterforthearts.org/event-or-exhibition/expressive-art-journaling-2/
